GUTTA-LINER

A DIY product from GUTTSA for the home handyman

How do I know if my home gutter needs relining?

If your gutter has begun rusting and/or leaking, it needs relining. And ideally, gutters should be relined before they rust and leak. Some house gutters are so rusty they’re past the point of relining. If you’re unsure, email us a photo of your worst section of gutter and we’ll offer our advice on whether you’d be better relining or replacing.

Can I really do it myself?

If you feel comfortable and confident cleaning your own gutters, you’re capable of installing GUTTA-LINER to your home. It’s been designed for easy installation with home handyman tools.

Can I use GUTTA-LINER on any gutter?

Yes! GUTTA-LINER can be used on all gutters. You can also line internal box gutters.

How do I know what size I need?

Our standard 300mm liner will suit all your house gutters. If you also have an internal box gutter, you’ll need to measure the length and also the width of the box gutter at the widest end.

How do I measure my gutters?

The only crucial measurement is the combined length of your gutters. Using a tape measure, simply add together the lengths of all gutters you want to reline. We recommend you reline the whole house at the same time.
Reminder: If you have an internal box gutter, you will need to measure the length of the gutter as well as the width of the box gutter across the deepest end.

What’s in the DIY kit?

DIY home handyman kits include GUTTA-LINER cut to length with simple, easy-to-follow instructions developed over 20 years of relining gutters across Australia. Additional items can be bought from your local hardware store.

What other tools and equipment will I need?

  • Construction adhesive
  • Caulking gun to apply the adhesive (the liner is glued to the existing gutter)
  • UV-stable black silicone to seal the exposed ends of the liner

  • 16mm Tek screws – approximately 30 per length of gutter lined to secure the hoop iron
